Also collecting the Light are members of the ZHP Polish Scouts based in Edinburgh.
Collection at Broughton near Preston to be taken to Scotland The Peace Light included in the celebration of Las Posadas at Trinity Methodist Church, Mansfield Woodhouse, Notts. Las Posadas is celebrated around Central America, and is based on Joseph and Marys trip from Nazareth to Bethlehem and struggling to find room at an inn. Las Posadas is celebrated 16-25th Dec, further details can be found on line.
"Little Lampies" - Carol Camp Fire at St Michael's Church in Waddington. The Peace Light which is supported by the Lincoln Nativity Light of Peace, the "Little Lampies" carried the Light to the Altar to be presented to the Minister. During the Camp Fire, there was a reflection to our late Queen and Scouts renewed their promise to King Charles Peace Light at Caversham Methodist Church
Peace Light Service at Trinity Methodist Church, Mansfield Woodhouse, Notts Abergavenny Baptist Church, the Peace Light arrival in Wales and recieved by Rhian_Moore, Head of Welsh Scouting, Chris Owen-Brooks, Gwent Deputy Area Commissioner, Monmouth District Coimmissioner and the Mayor and Dep Mayoress of Abergavenny . Wonderful to see how Scouts in Wales have been a part of this wonderful message of peace.
